Originally from Worthing in Sussex, England, David began his career in golf on the European and South African Tours. He soon realized his interest was in the technique, mechanics, and intricacies of the game, which eventually led him to spend more time teaching than playing. David’s career took off in the mid-1980s through his documented work with Sir Nick Faldo which produced 26 Majors.
Soon after David’s retirement from playing, he began to incorporate his methods and philosophies into a stringent, holistic training program for qualified instructors that remains unmatched even today.
Since launching the first Leadbetter Golf Academy over 30 years ago, David has coached players to 26 Major Championship titles and over 100 individual worldwide tournament victories. Seven of those players have even held first place in the Official World Golf Ranking.
With a desire to bring that same world-class instruction to players of all ages and abilities, and in addition to the numerous articles written for publications like Golf Digest and Golf International over the past three decades, David has authored eight books on the topic. Together, David’s books have sold two million copies making him one of the best-selling golf instruction authors in the world. His latest book, The A Swing, was released in May 2015 is set to transform the golf swing once again.
Additionally, David has produced a number of instructional videos, DVDs, an interactive video game, and other mixed media, and developed training aids—including the SwingSetter, SwingSetter Pro and a number of A Swing approved training aids released with the book—all dedicated to helping people play better golf.
Today, David remains a revered voice in golf instruction and continues to coach several top PGA, LPGA, and European Tour players, host his own satellite radio show, author new publications, develop new training aids, and continue to bring the same innovative and elite level instruction to players everywhere.

Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Sean Hogan was a member of the Irish National Golf Team alongside major champions Darren Clarke and Padraig Harrington. As graduate from the University South Florida in Tampa, Sean earned Academic All-American honors as a collegiate player before joining David Leadbetter and his worldwide team of instructors.
As Director of Instruction at Leadbetter Golf Academies world headquarters at ChampionsGate Sean has worked alongside David with PGA and LPGA winners including Trevor Immelman, Ben Curtis, Lee Westwood, Fredrik Jacobson, Lydia Ko, and Suzann Petersen.
Recognized as a Golf Magazine Top 100 and Golf Digest Best in State instructor, Sean currently enjoys working with all ages and abilities creating game improvement plans to match each players skillset and goals.

Trevor Hypolite holds several certifications in related fields of exercise science. Trevor has been in the fitness industry for over 18 years and has a long history within Junior Golf Academies. He has trained athletes from a wide range of sports ranging from football to golf and has trained athletes of all ages and abilities from novice, intermediate, and professional levels.
Trevor is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as having achieved certification from the National Association of Speed & Explosion.
As a biomechanics specialist, he utilizes the FMS (Functional Movement Screen) test to immediately identify the movement challenges and then incorporate a series of corrective exercises to help remedy each physical challenge. He brings a high level of knowledge, focus, and attention to detail that is essential to excelling in the field of sports performance. Combine those attributes with his work ethic and you have a dynamic team member.

A member of the PGA TOUR and PGA of America since 1985, Bob Lohr played on the PGATOUR as an exempt player for twelve consecutive years (1985-1996). A tournament winner at the 1988 Walt Disney World Oldsmobile Classic, where Bob defeated Chip Beck in an exciting five-hole playoff was certainly the highlight. Two playoff losses, one to Jay Haas in the 1993 Texas Open, the other in 1995 to Mark O’Meara at the Canadian Open are among his six runner-up finishes. He also enjoyed five 3rd place finishes during his career.
Bob began working on his golf swing with David Leadbetter in November of 1989 and by the fall of 1990, defeated a field including 30 PGA TOUR tournament winners to capture the 1990 Mexican Open. He went on in 1991 to record an impressive seven top tens, including two seconds and a third.
A graduate of Miami University (Ohio) where he was an Evans Scholar, Bob earned a B.S. in Marketing. An All Mid-American Conference Selection for three years and Honorable Mention All American in 1983 are among his golf accomplishments while attending Miami University. He was inducted into the Miami University Hall of Fame in 1993.
Bob became an LGA Golf Instructor in 2002. He coaches players of all ages and skill levels at Champions Gate in Orlando, Florida, where he resides with his wife, Ren.

Born and raised in Mendota, Illinois, and a graduate of Mendota Township High School, Brett found a career in the golf industry soon after his time at Central College in Pella, Iowa. At Central, Brett earned degrees in Marketing and Spanish. He was a member of the Ping All-Midwest Region team, served as golf team captain, had multiple All-Iowa Conference honors and played in two NCAA Division III National Championships.
After college, Brett’s desire to travel and create new relationships within the golf world led him to several opportunities, including 18 months with Callaway Golf where he worked in equipment sales and club fitting. He first met David Leadbetter in 2008 and spent a year at the Leadbetter Junior Academy in Bradenton, Florida where he continued to develop his club fitting and instructional skills.
Brett found success in this side of the business and became a member of LGA ChampionsGate in December of 2009 and linked LGA’s world-class golf instruction with golf equipment fitting and technology analysis such as Trackman and SAM PuttLab. A teaching career soon followed as Brett became a Leadbetter Instructor and has been the teaching assistant to David Leadbetter since 2012. He regularly works and assists with with several PGA, LPGA, and European Tour Professionals and continues to oversee the club fitting and equipment department at LGA.
Brett was selected by Golf Digest as one of the Best Young Teachers in America for 2016-2017 in recognition of outstanding achievement among golf instructors under age 40. He is also Trackman Master Certified, one of few instructors nationwide with this credential.
Brett is well versed with the performance staff and the Leadbetter Dynamic Golf Performance program and values his opportunities in continuing to develop through David’s counsel and from all members of LGA ChampionsGate.
Chema Sanchez

Chema Sánchez, originally from Barcelona, Spain, played golf professionally for the PGA of Spain from 2001-2003, and is still currently a member of the PGA of Spain.
He was most recently awared Golf Digest’s Best Young Teachers in America list for 2018-2019. He reached the level of Master Teaching Professional by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation in 2002 and completed the LGA Instructor certification in 2003. Sánchez is also currently certified by TPI, Flightscope, and GGGA.
After coming to the U.S. full time in 2008, Sánchez became a certified coach at The Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy. He reached the level of Senior Instructor in 2009, and added the role of Director of Player & Business Development for Latin America until 2015.
Sánchez currently coaches elite college and junior players, including World top 50 ranked Jorge Garcia, Maria Fassi, and Karl Vilips. He also currently coaches and supports PGA TOUR and Web.com Tour players including Carlos Ortiz, Juan Sebastian Muñoz, and 2016 Olympian Rodolfo Cazaubon. During his time assisting Gilchrist, Chema had the opportunity to work with players such as Morgan Hoffman, Peter Hanson, Charles Howell, Yani Tseng, Morgan Pressel, and Shanshan Feng.
Along with being recognized as an AJGA Junior Advisor for Latin America, Sánchez is also involved in Tournament organization for the AJGA Sergio Garcia Foundation Championship.
David Louys-Moroney

David Louys-Moroney returns to LGA ChampionsGate with nearly 20 years of experience within the coaching world, and nearly as many teaching under David Leadbetter’s philosophy. Louys-Moroney is a native of New Zealand where he began his teaching career as an assistant professional. In 2004, David began his Leadbetter Instructor certification journey and has subsequently completed re-certification in the years to follow. David has a vast teaching background teaching students all over the world including New Zealand, Australia, Slovenia, Austria, Spain, South Korea, England, Ireland, and Turkey.
David took the role of Academy Director of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Turkey and subsequently assumed the position in South Korea where he coached four KLPGA tournament winners. One of his students, Yun Ji CHO, won the 2010 KLPGA rookie of the year. Most recently, Louys-Moroney worked with competitive juniors as a Senior Coach at IJGA before returning to his roots at LJGA.

Originally from Normal, Illinois, Ron Grotjan began playing golf at the age of six, influenced by his father who was an accomplished player. He competed in many junior and amateur tournaments with multiple wins at the state level. He attended college at Illinois State University where he was a four-year varsity letter winner and won one college tournament.
In May of 1990, Ron turned professional. While working as an Assistant Golf Professional in Illinois, Ron accumulated 23 professional victories and was also named Central Illinois Professional Golfers Association “Player of the Year” in 1991 and 1995. Through his playing years Ron attributes much of his playing success to David Leadbetter’s swing philosophies and teaching methods.
Beginning in 2004, Ron felt the passion to become a golf instructor. Being familiar with the David Leadbetter System it was a perfect match. He became a Leadbetter Instructor in the spring of 2005, and now works with all ages and ability levels.
Zach Parker

Zach Parker is passionate about evolving the way golfers are coached and pushing the industry forward. He is a Golf Digest Top Young Teacher (2018-2019), a published author, and has coached some of the best juniors in the world for over a decade. He is passionate about understanding human performance on and off the golf course and has realized that a learning mindset is critical, and that mindset is a by-product of the environment. To best help golfers, coaches, and parents shatter any limiting beliefs, he cultivates the optimal environment for all.
Zach specializes in long-term athletic development. He has extensive knowledge of the golf swing and has developed golf training programs that combine golf swing mechanics, physical competencies and effective practice. These programs are currently used by a number of DI NCAA golfers, elite level junior golfers, and professional players, worldwide.
